I ran across some neat sayings in an old magazine I was reading, and they invoked in me a feeling of thankfulness and appreciation of the beauty around me.
These sayings speak of "giving", so I thought I would give to you some beauty as I see it........ and it is usually and mostly in the simple things.
No one has ever become poor by giving. Anne Frank, diarist, 1929-1945.
Think of giving not as a duty but as a privilege.
John D. Rockefeller, Jr. 1987-1960.
We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. Winston Churchill 1974-1965.
Scatter joy. Ralph Waldo Emerson, writer, 1803-1882.
My creed is that:
Happiness is the only good.
The place to be happy is here.
The time to be happy is now.
The way to be happy is to make others so.
Robert G. Ingersoll (1833-1899)
American lawyer and orator
