IT'S MY RESPONSIBILITY..............

It's my responsibility, as a CTMH consultant, to sadly tell you that a whole bunch of the darling stamp sets (and many other goodies) will be retired as of January 31, 2014! I hate to see them go! 

Here they are.... if you want any of the retiring stamp sets or other embellishments and papers, get them before the end of January, HERE ON MY WEBSITE.

I know these are small pictures... but it at least gives you an idea of what stamp sets are leaving us. (boo hoo).... Go to my website (link above) and click on any particular stamp set that you want to see close up.

 

The  CARD WORD PUZZLE set is especially neat. It can make up to at least 100 different phrases.

I LOVE the butterfly and flowers too. 

The Cozy Cat and Adore sets are two of my favorites! I used both stamps on the CTMH muslin gift bags.

Besides stamp sets retiring there are several of the Workshops on the Go retiring, as well as some paper packs (Huntington, Frosted, Tommy).

I LOVED the QUICK CARDS - BUTTERFLY stamp set as used the script part of it alot to do some background stamping on my cards and mini albums.

Sniff sniff, most of our colored glitter gels are going away!

I'm especially sad to see two of the fabric lines going away, but there WILL BE two new fabric sets in the new Idea Book, going online on February 1st! VERY HAPPY!

Here's a canvas wall hanging I made using the Chantilly fabric. Using the textiles (fabric) adds so much fun in creating!











And the Huntington paper packet is going away! That makes me really sad. I love that paper!

CTMH Kraft pocket album that I made using our Huntington papers. I'm going to stock up on Huntington papers!

We're losing our Dark Chocolate and Black Striped Grosgrain Ribbons.  That makes me very sad. STOCK UP NOW!

You can't find these ribbons in the stores.

Our SATIN SLATE POLKA DOT RIBBON is also retiring (whine whine). LOVE this ribbon as it is so unique!

Goodbye flowers, goodbye Chantilly buttons, goodbye pinwheels. SO SAD! You have only five more days to order any of these.

Goodbye pearls, studs, floral accents, Chantilly Dimensional Elements and Huntington Stickease. Will miss you.

Even though there are so many things retiring, CTMH is making room for all of the NEW AND WONDERFUL items (there are some awesome new products) being presented in the new Spring/Summer 2014 Idea Book which will be available on February 1st!

CUTE "FROSTED" CARDS.

Just wanted to do a quick post to show you a couple of darling Christmas cards using the new FROSTED papers and the September Stamp of the Month,  POSTER TIDINGS.

This card uses our Slate Satin Polka Dot Ribbon. One of my favorites!

This card is made using the Colonial White Die Cut Card.

On the top card, you can see how just part of the stamp was used. I love that idea!

These cute cards were made by Gina Brandstetter, a fellow CTMH consultant, at Gina's Little Corner of Stampin Heaven. You can view the stamp set on my September 5th post, or on Gina's blog link above.  Thank you Gina for the cute ideas!  I also love how she put a "ribbon" and a "bow" on the top card where the words "ribbons and bows" were on the stamp. Oh so clever!

Many of the Close to My Heart consultants have blog hops highlighting the different new papers. If you would like to see more ideas, search for "CTMH Frosted" (for example, or any of the new papers) on google or most search engines. This is a great way to find neat ideas for projects and cards.

RIBBON RAVES!

Wow do I love some of the Close to My Heart ribbons! There are so many new ones, but my two favorites are the Dark Chocolate striped Grosgrain Ribbon and the Slate Satin Polka Dot Ribbon which to me, just really give a card something extra. The pictures in the catalog DO NOT do these justice!

Here's a pretty card I just made using the slate polka dot ribbon. I think it's gorgeous!

I USED THE SONOMA (RETIRED) PAPERS WHICH I ABSOLUTELY LOVED! I USED SOME SLATE CARDSTOCK THAT CAME WITH THE SONOMA PAPERS FOR THE CARD BASE. THIS BOW IS ACTUALLY A REAL TIED BOW.

Here's another one with a little different twist on the bow:

ON THIS ONE, I JUST TOOK A PIECE OF THE SLATE RIBBON AND TIED IT WITH SOME SILVER TWINE.

I just LOVE THESE CARDS!!!

I love the Close to My Heart cardstock.  It is so heavy duty and makes beautiful card bases. Not flimsy like the card sets you buy elsewhere.

Now for the Chocolate Brown Grosgrain striped ribbon.  I am totally hooked on this one!  Here's a birthday card I made using the (retired) Pemberly papers.  I think the ribbon just adds so much. I put little plain brown grosgrain knots on top of it.

And here's a Christmas card I previously made, using the Pear & Partridge papers (retired) last December.  That brown grosgrain ribbon goes with just about anything!

I TIED A LITTLE PIECE OF TWINE AROUND THE GROSGRAIN RIBBON.  I ALSO USED DAKOTA  PAPER FOR THE BACKGROUND. I LOVE THAT WOODGRAIN LOOK AND IT IS STILL AVAILABLE!

I've seen the Dakota woodgrain papers used with our new CHANTILLY  papers on vintage-look cards.  Here is a darling card posted by Sarah Stone Creations. It's hard to believe you could put woodgrain with pastels and get vintage!

 I also love the Hollyhock Zipper Lace and the Burlap Ribbon.  I'll try to get some samples on my blog soon.
