One enthusiastic lady, Jann Schott, took me up on the challenge. You go Jann!
Here are the cards she made, using the gorgeous (but now retired) Chantilly B&T paper from Close to My Heart. Check out her cards and tutorial at her blog, Snap-Schotts, here. Her tutorial and instructions are better than mine, and such pretty cards!
Card 1 - Basic card with peek hole cut out on front. I like how she rounded the corners. |
Card 2 - Easel Card - I like how she used a pretty decorative border to hold up the "easel" part of the card. She made a rolled flower too! |
Card 3 - Gatefold card with handmade flower on the right flap to hold it down. Love her gold embossed flower on the left flap. |
Just a note, as I said in my original post, this was NOT my idea, but I was inspired by Einat Kessler on YouTube. Her video can be seen HERE. She has some wonderful, fun projects.
Hope you try this card project. It's alot of fun! And thank you Jann Schott, for playing along.
Pretty card!! I hope you have a great day tomorrow!
