I've had this dream for over 2 years now.. to open a new Etsy shop with digital printables only. I would like to give myself some "passive income".
Digital is all the rage right now, from what I hear.
I took courses on Youtube on how to make my own digital papers, which is where I started out over 2 years ago.
Since I got excited about this, I began taking pictures of everything! Things I could turn into clipart and photo wall art, etc.
One of my grandma's doilies that she made. I will turn it into a frame for some stationery or part of a card front. |
One of my mom's hankies. She collected them for years. I've turned it into stationery, which I haven't listed yet. |
I rumaged through my mom's old hankies, and doilies, and lace things, and old glassware, and took photos of it all. I'm working on making some stationery which is framed with the lace and hankie images.
I'm also having fun making some Christmas tags.
A couple of years ago, I made some tea themed tags and vintage ladies tags. Those are still a work in progress.
Introducing my new shop, Rocking Horse PrintsUS
I've really had fun designing my shop, making the logo, and creating mockups for my listings.
I've just begun adding items. I have a few Christmas Tags listed now, plus one of my photo quote prints and a Bucket List.
In between all my crafting, I've been working on getting my newly created tags and card fronts ready to list! It takes time, but once it's done, then it's ready to sell in perpetuity!
I would love it if you'd go take a look. Maybe try puchasing a print and trying it out. All the tags are "print and cut".... you print it, cut it out, and make it. You can decorate it, punch a hole, tie some ribbon on it, add glitter or lace, make it your own! Very easy. And you can print as many as you want. Think of a sheet of 8 tags that you could print out 100 times!
Or think of paying $1.00 to purchase the Bucket List, and printing out 10 to give as gifts.
I was just excited to share this with you!

I'm proud of you for stepping out and starting your Etsy shop. I would not have any idea how to do that. I'm sure it's like any other business you have to let people know and get some attention on the media. Rome wasn't built in a day, but as you continue to build your inventory I'm sure there will be more people visiting and purchasing. I wish you the very best.
ReplyDeleteHave a very merry Christmas you're blogging sister 🥰🎄♥️🎄
Thank you for the encouragement Connie! It DOES take alot of time to do even one listing, but with time and effort, I hope to have at least a hundred! Baby steps. Hope you are enjoying this season. Hugs.....Marilyn
