I’ve been thinking about looking at old posts too. Must be something in the air :).
ReplyDeleteAll these projects are so lovely! The dahlia and hexagon boxes are stunning Marilyn, and I can’t help but think we’d have a blast crafting together. Too bad we’re just a ‘few’ miles apart. ;).

Hi Doreen! It's fun sometimes to go back and look at our photos. I love photography so much, that I never get tired of looking at my old photos! Yesterday I just felt like I needed some PINK stuff! We would have a blast crafting, for sure. How is your decorating coming? Haven't seen a blog post for quite awhile! Do you have pix on Instagram? I'd better go check. I kind of quit going there. Hope all is well! Hugs.. Marilyn
DeleteYour cards are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI used to make them, but haven't made any in quite awhile.
Thanks for the sweet words on my latest post. The movement was mostly done before my surgery. I am still taking it easy and have come to understand that growing new skin is a VERY SLOW PROCESS especially in my advanced years.
I do hope you get the rocker. It sounds perfect for the porch.
Thank you Carol. Glad you did all that work before your surgery! Actually, there are TWO rockers that I would love to have back from my sister. She has so many places to stores things luckily. One is already white that I painted years ago. Was also my great grandmother's and one piece is broken off of the back of one of the rockers. I kept meaning to have a new one put on. They would look so darling on a front "porch" if we can ever afford to have our front small "stoop" extended into a covered porch! Hope you are healing quickly, but it does take longer as we "mature". Marilyn
DeleteOOH MY! Marilyn, such a gorgeous collection of pink and your incredibly stunning creations! I love all the beautiful pink creations both with fabric and paper! Your handiwork is beautiful! I love all the folding techniques you used both in fabric and in paper to create such beauties! And the beautiful pink blooms were really a joy to see! So wonderful to hold the memories in our hearts of beautiful days gone by, and gorgeous blooms enjoyed! I really liked your canvas boards, they are so fun and creative, and would make very special gifts! I am sure your sister was thrilled to get hers! Like you, I tend to hoard paper, it almost hurts to cut into it, lol! I love those hexagon boxes, they are darling. Such talent you have, my friend! I enjoyed seeing all the delightful pinks you shared today :) Blessings and hugs!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Marilyn! I surely did enjoy re-looking at all my flowers (most were from the Washougal, WA house)....and the pretty pinks. It made me get excited for spring and planting again! And it was fun to be reminded of what I've made in the past, and forgotten about! Blessings to you too! Marilyn
