Since I'm on a roll today doing blog posts, thought I'd just share a little "eye candy"..... something I made for my cousin a couple of years ago, and just love looking at it!........... my favorite colors of course and so darned cute.
It was the sweetest little box that holds 5 cards and envelopes - little mini box, little mini cards and little mini envelopes that I made using the WRMK (We are Memory Keepers) Envelope Punch Board.
I used a magnet closure.. pretty pink bow with little dots of silver glitter blue on it, and of course, lace.
Here are some of the sweet little cards:
The papers were from Ki... Doilies Paper Pad by Hampton Art. The stamp is from Close to My Heart (retired).
Cute little envelopes:
I just loved these papers!
I think I could put five cards and envelopes into this tiny box.
If you would like to make this sweet set, you can find a video by Dawn's Stamping Thoughts on YouTube here - Part 1. She also has a Part 2 that she filmed the following day.
Enjoy!

What can I say . . . adorable :)
ReplyDeleteYou do such nice work. I am sure that your friends and family get excited to open their mail, when it comes from you :)
Have a happy week.
Connie :)
Thank you Connie! I hope they do enjoy what I make... I so enjoy doing it and think I probably get more pleasure from it than anyone else! I've come down with a nasty flu bug so am laying low at the moment and doing absolutely NOTHING! First day on the computer for 3 days... not like me to just let everything go. Take care.. Marilyn
DeleteWhen I first saw that initial photo, I thought it was a little purse! It may be a box, but don't you think it would make a cute purse too?!
ReplyDeleteYes it WOULD make a cute little purse! Just add a little handle and voila! I've been sick for a few days so just laying around feeling sorry for myself. So much to do but absolutely NO motivation to do anything at all.... this flu bug was different.. hit me so fast like a ton of bricks and hurt in every inch of my body. AAaaaarrrrgggghhhhhh... today is first day on the computer for 3 days. Did read your blog and love your gorgeous "new" kitchen and rock garden! Stay well and hope you find some time to rest and relax and enjoy your cabin! Hugs... Marilyn

Thank you so much Summer! I enjoy it all so much! Marilyn
DeleteMarilyn, what a sweet little box and cards. For a short but sweet message to someone special. Thanks for your kind words. I didn't put out many Halloween goodies this year. I will just before Halloween to decorate the front porch and door. Most of the pics were from years past..Happy Weekend..Judy
ReplyDeleteYes.. I seem to love tiny little things! I love making tiny little envelopes to hold tiny little notes! I may put a skeleton on my front door for the trick-or-treaters or a pumpkin on the front porch! That's about it for me! I do love seeing all the decorations and lights around town though. People are already putting up orange lights for the wee little goblins.... Marilyn

ReplyDeleteThank you Teresa! I love snail mail and still send notes and postcards to anyone I can think of! These are little tiny ones.. to tuck inside a gift and I actually made this set for my cousin back in Minnesota. I know she loves pink and green too!
